No classes! I had a list of a bunch of things to accomplish and I totally struck out! Jackie, Miranda, Heather, Kate and I were on a mission for books. The used bookshop was closed, of course. We stopped in the regular bookstore and it was about the size of a closet! Instead of having the courses next to the books they just had the books on a table with signs like ‘marketing’ or ‘accountancy’ and you had to search for the exact name of your book. It was such a pain, especially because I couldn’t find any of my books! I asked the guy at the register and he looked up the one book I needed for sure…… it was on order because they didn’t know the professor was going to use it. He took my name and phone number and told me I would get a text when my book was in and I could pick it up at the reserve desk, haha! The other books I am sharing with Ally so I was going to wait for her to come with me so we could get them. Then I wanted a bus pass…. we couldn’t find any so I will have to go to the Dublin Bus office next time I go to town. Then we wanted to check out the UCD apparel…. not a good selection.
Finally I had some success…. Heather and I took the bus to Stillorgan and hit up the Tesco for some groceries. I needed food badly! I don't know if I will ever get used to these grocery stores though, they are something else.
Later Jackie and Heather came by and we watched some Friends DVDs and read our Ireland travel books, hahaha! We are sooooo cool!
